Our hands are most frequently exposed to the extremes of the weather and the changing of low and high temperatures. Furthermore, they suffer from the different chemical compounds widely used in today’s household cleaning agents.
In order to look good and healthy, our hands need daily care. Today we will introduce a simple and effective way that will refresh the skin of your hands.
One of the possible options to remove the dead cells on the skin is the exfoliation.
The scrubbing of the dry skin of the hands will help us to show the soft palm hiding beneath. The moisturizing with shea butter immediately after the exfoliation and cleansing helps to retain the moisture in the skin. The shea butter has healing properties which the African women use for decades to keep the skin on their hands soft and smooth.
Sprinkle your hand with 1 tablespoon of baking soda at night before bedtime, add warm water to obtain a paste and then rub into the skin on your hands for one minute. Then rinse with warm water.
Lather your hands with African black soap containing a quantity of shea butter. The soap is dark brown in color and is very soft. With it massage your hands and then rinse with hot water.
Put a small piece of shea butter (1 to 1 centimeter) in a bowl for the microwave and heat it for 30 seconds or until it almost liquefies.
Rub the warm shea butter on the skin of your hands and put on top cotton gloves.
Leave the gloves for the night to allow the Shea butter to soak well. In the morning again wash your hands with warm water and African black soap.
This simple procedure will leave your hands soft and smooth. Your skin will be refreshed and moisturized and you will feel your hands as if they are the little soft hands of a baby.
